Who We Are
NW Works, Inc. is a nonprofit that helps support adults with disabilities maximize their independence through meaningful employment and advocacy in Winchester City and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, and Warren. NW Works’ programs and services are designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals who are 18 years of age or older and have long-term disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities like blindness and hearing and vision impairments. Individuals who participate in programs at NW Works are supported in skill development, confidence building, assessment, and job placement in the community.
What We Do
NW Works offers comprehensive programming to support individuals living with disabilities on their journeys to independence. We provide support through skill assessment and development, lessons on activities of daily living, confidence building, career exploration, job placement, and job coaching services.
