We are your local not-for-profit hospice.
Blue Ridge Hospice has been serving our community since 1981 (learn more about our history here). We believe high quality healthcare is important at every stage of life and we consider it a privilege to walk with those facing a terminal illness, coping with grief, or seeking to learn more about these experiences.
Our mission is to brighten life’s journey with quality and compassionate care for all whom we are privileged to serve.
Blue Ridge Hospice’s headquarters are in Winchester, Virginia. We serve the counties of Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah, Page, Northern Fauquier, Western Loudon and the City of Winchester.
What We Do
We offer quality end-of-life care to individuals and families facing serious illness.

- We honor patient and family choices and address the individual needs of those we serve.
- We treat every patient with the utmost respect and dignity.
- We manage pain and symptoms so patients live as fully and comfortably as possible.
- We focus on the quality of each person’s life by addressing the mind, body and spirit.
- We support anyone in our community affected by death, dying and loss.
