Who We Are

We help to transform the lives of our immigrant and refugee neighbors and sustain hope through immigration legal services. The mission of Just Neighbors is to provide high-quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants, asylees and refugees in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia; and, to build community among clients, staff, volunteers and the larger community through education, advocacy, and volunteerism.

What We Do

Just Neighbors provides a range of legal services to low income immigrants in living in Virginia, Maryland and DC. These services include outreach through legal tabling, Advice & Council through more than 8 monthly walk-in clinics through-out the region and full representation. Established in 1996 by pastors and attorneys of the United Methodist Church as a practical response to the legal challenges immigrants face, we serve survivors of domestic violence, unaccompanied minors, and victims of violent crimes who qualify for humanitarian relief.
