Every year, the Wednesday before the first concert of the season, Shenandoah Valley Music sponsors the Great Chair Wash-Off, because, really, who wants to sit in a dirty chair for a great concert?!
Volunteers are needed for this year's event, on July 20 at our concert venue at Shrine Mont in Orkney Springs, Va. The more the merrier! It's real easy. We supply the power washers, the soap, the water, the chairs and the refreshments. You supply the time.
A dozen volunteers can clean these chairs in about three hours. It's a great team building and community service activity for the whole office. Individuals welcome, too! Dress comfortably. There's going to be a lot of water!
